AI receptionist for dentists & orthodontists

Your front desk is checking someone in, verifying insurance and answering the phone at the same time. RaheemAI sets up Ava, an AI receptionist for dental and orthodontic offices that answers the calls your team can't get to, books new-patient and consult requests and emails your team the details.

Thanks for calling Maple Dental Studio. This is Ava, the office's AI assistant. How can I help?

My daughter needs an ortho consult. Are you taking new patients?

We are. Has she been seen here before?

No, first time

I can request a new-patient consult for her. Is a weekday after school or a Saturday morning better?

Example call. Names are made up.

Sound familiar?

The calls you can't get to still matter.

  • New patients call while the front desk is helping someone at the window
  • Callers who reach voicemail after hours often try the next office instead of leaving a message
  • Ortho consult requests sit in voicemail until someone has time to call back
  • Reschedules and cancellations pile up first thing in the morning
What Ava does

What Ava does for your office

Books new patients and consults

Offers the open times you allow, books them on your scheduling tool where it connects, or captures preferred times for your team to confirm.

Handles reschedules and cancellations

Takes the patient's name and preferred new time and emails your team, so the morning starts with a list instead of a voicemail box.

Answers the questions you approve

Hours, location, parking, which insurance carriers you take, whether you see kids, Invisalign or braces consults. Only from answers you've signed off on.

Routes dental emergencies your way

For pain, swelling or a broken tooth during hours, she can transfer the call to your team. After hours she marks it urgent for your on-call callback, and anyone describing a medical emergency is told to call 911.

Emails you a summary

A summary of each conversation, including the caller's name, number and what they need, lands in your inbox.

Never pretends to be a person

Ava introduces herself as the office's AI assistant and says so again if anyone asks.

Good to know

Patient privacy, in plain terms

Ava collects only basic contact and scheduling details, like name, phone, email and the reason for the visit in a few words. She doesn't ask for insurance member IDs, dates of birth, Social Security numbers or medical history, and she doesn't give medical advice. If your practice needs Ava to handle protected health information, that setup requires a signed business associate agreement (BAA) and is set up on request. We don't claim the standard service is HIPAA compliant, so talk to us before you turn it on for anything sensitive.

FAQ

Questions dental and ortho offices ask

Can Ava book directly into our practice management software?

Sometimes. We connect to the scheduling tools we can, and for the ones we can't, Ava captures two or three preferred times and emails them to your team to confirm. We'll tell you which way your setup works before the trial starts.

Will Ava ask patients for insurance details?

Only the carrier name, if you want that. She never asks for member IDs, dates of birth or Social Security numbers on the call. Your team verifies coverage the way it does today.

Is RaheemAI HIPAA compliant?

We don't claim that. Ava is set up to collect only basic contact and scheduling details. If your office needs her to handle protected health information, that requires a signed business associate agreement and a setup we do on request.

What happens with a dental emergency?

You choose the rules. A common setup is to transfer urgent calls during office hours and flag them for an on-call callback after hours. Ava doesn't diagnose or suggest medication, and anyone describing a medical emergency is told to call 911.

Does it work for orthodontists too?

Yes. For ortho offices Ava usually handles consult requests, questions about whether you see adults or kids, and reschedules for adjustment visits, using the answers you approve.
