Where Ava helps Indiana businesses
- Suburban home services. HVAC, plumbing and remodeling companies in Hamilton County and beyond can have Ava capture job requests while techs are in the field.
- Shop and supplier calls. Small manufacturers and RV-service shops can send overflow calls to Ava for quotes and service requests.
- Mixed time zones. If you serve both Eastern and Central parts of Indiana, Ava's hours follow your location's local time.

Recording calls in Indiana
One-party consent. Indiana Code § 35-33.5-5-5 makes unlawful interception a crime, but § 35-31.5-2-176 defines interception as recording by someone other than a sender or receiver without either one's consent. Phone calls follow a one-party rule. The statute doesn't clearly address in-person conversations.
Indiana businesses often get calls from Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky. Of those, Illinois and Michigan require all-party consent or have unsettled rules, which is one more reason to give a notice at the start.
Ava always says she's an AI. If your setup records calls, the script we draft adds a short recording notice to her greeting, and you approve the wording. Interstate calls can be tricky; see the state-by-state overview.
Time zones and after-hours coverage
